Wimberley Lavender Farm
Wimberley Lavender Farm is situated on a beautiful Texas hilltop midway between Blanco and Wimberley on FM 2325.
Karen and O'Neil Provost have
thousands of mature plants of the Provence variety and have planted several
new varieties as well.
During lavender bloom season (May through August), visit the farm, cut your
own lavender or walk the lavender labyrinth with more than 500 plants lining
the path. Sip refreshing lavender lemonade, sit on a swing and look over an
amazing view, visit with their gentle longhorn cows, or toss feed to the
chickens - it's a great break from the city and the Provosts look forward to
We are open seasonally and will next have regular hours in May, June and
July of 2009. Our gift shop opens in the late spring through the U-pick
season, but we always honor special orders of soaps, candles, lotions, oils
and lavender plants to take home. Please give us a call at (830) 833-1595
for more information and requests for orders. Four inch lavender plants
will be available for planting as of April 1st for $3.00 each.
We can be found at the Wimberley Market Days at booth 235 on the first
Saturday of each month as well as numerous markets throughout the Austin and
